At Melanyx Skin, we are led by Petrina Hospedales, a licensed NYS esthetician who is deeply passionate about self-care and personal well-being. Our journey began in 2021 when we made a profound commitment to prioritize self-care and live a more meaningful life. The sudden loss of Petrina's father to ALS that October was a pivotal moment. His final lessons emphasized the importance of family, friendships, and the intangible nature of time. These insights inspired us to reflect on our own life and legacy, leading us to embrace a career in esthetics.

Petrina’s lifelong fascination with beauty and self-care, from fashion magazines to flawless skin, has shaped our approach. With a genuine desire to help others feel and look their best, we started this journey as a licensed esthetician in New York. Our goal is to support clients in their self-care routines while also cherishing time with loved ones and living life on our own terms. We are excited to build lasting relationships with our clients and make a positive impact on their lives.
